Hadia Ahmed

  • Hadia AhmedI’m a Ph.D. student in Department of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
  • Dr. Peter Pirkelbauer is my supervisor.
  • My research interest is software engineering for high performance computing (HPC) applications. I’m looking forward to building tools to aid HPC research in having an efficient reliable reusable software. My main focus is program transformations for Message Passing Interface (MPI) applications. I work with ROSE compiler to do source to source transformations.
  • I’m also interested in Bioinformatics and how they are related to the HPC world.
  • I work as a teaching assistant (TA) in CIS, UAB.

About me:

  • Egyptian, born in Assiut, Egypt.
  • I used to play volleyball and I miss it. Now, I’m trying to make running my new hobby.
